12 venues·In the walkable zone
The densest concentration of nightlife in the city and the only part of it where you can leave one venue and walk to the next without thinking about transport. It holds the cocktail bars, the largest concert room, the breweries and two of the late clubs.
Boundary: Addresses on and immediately around Park Central Square, including Walnut Street, Campbell Avenue and McDaniel Street.

3 venues·In the walkable zone
A short spur off the square that has changed faster than anywhere else in the city, largely because of the hotel development on it. It connects to the downtown core on foot, so the two are covered together.
Boundary: Addresses on South Avenue, running south from the square.

A separate historic district with its own character — older buildings, smaller rooms, and a bar culture that runs earlier and quieter than downtown. It is not walkable from the square.
Boundary: Addresses on Commercial Street, in the historic district north of the railway.
